I would say the only downside & its Not from a sales man point Of view it's more from a business point of view was the presentation on the day. BMW Glasgow always have a Red Bow on the cars for anyone picking up there brand new car

Good service, very communicative and reorganised initial appointment without fuss. Coming from Gullane means getting there and back always a bit of a hassle. Always a bit nervous re bill for items needing done.

I had organised my appointment for the EGR cooler recall and MOT and received text confirming my appointment some weeks prior to my appointment as inrequired a courtesy car. Turned up on 18th March, I was not on the list for that day.

Quoted 90 min for tyre and MOT, so decided to stay local. Phone call an hour later with wrong tire delivered. Returned to dealership, other issues then mentioned. In the end, lasted 5 hrs despite always being told less than an hr wait so wasted day.

The work was carried out on the timescale agreed. It was like being on a conveyorbelt Talked to a receptionist Take seat. They go away to talk to someone. They come back. you need to wait someone with you. Offered a drink moved to the next step.

Called 3 weeks prior to Mot and service however could not get appointment until day before MOT due, failed due tyre , as a result car was in for 4 days with no communication and no one answering calls. Very unlikely to use this garage again.

Apart from the receptionist who was helpfully, i didn't find the Douglas Park Edinburgh up to the previous standard. No communication that car was ready, and no complementary wash and clean with MOT.

It was a shambles from start to finish. There was practically no communication. When Paul phoned to say the car was ready I made the one hour & a half journey to the garage to be told the car wasn't ready. They had called the wrong customer!

Tech resolved the issue which had plagued my ownership since day one. Peter Vardy tried multiple times but couldn't fix it, first visit in and it was solved while doing the service. Very pleased!!

I was told I could drop my car off by 6pm the day before. Due to traffic issues I arrived at 5:58 but the service staff had already left. A sales rep did acknowledge me but was rather unhelpful so I had to leave and arrange to return the next morning

Amazing (the work, report, valet, brilliant). Spoiled by the lack of pick up/drop off. I live in the Borders and you're left to walk around in Edinburgh for 8 hours. 2 shopping, .5 lunch, so 5.5 hours of walkabout (in winter!) Was ill for days after.

Initial conversation on the phone to book the service was good with David. The booking in at reception was a very dull emotionless experience. I waited on my on my car and was told I'd be updated on progress. Not once did this happen.

In the past when I brought my car for service, I would get a detailed Health Check report on the condition of the vehicle. This time it wasn't provided as the new owners (Douglas Park) don't provide it. It would be still good to have one.
